At the NORMAN General Assembly in Gdańsk (December 2025), members identified strong opportunities to expand collaboration with partners in the Global South to advance chemical monitoring and risk assessment at a global scale. Many NORMAN members already work closely with institutions in the Global South, and there is clear momentum to strengthen these collaborations through more structured and coordinated partnerships.
Through this initiative, NORMAN aims to foster mutually beneficial cooperation that supports data sharing, capacity building, and exchange of experience on regulatory frameworks and prioritisation approaches. It also seeks to promote the co‑development of cost‑effective monitoring solutions, including innovative technologies and citizen science approaches.
We invite your institution to participate in this survey and contribute to defining future collaborations that are inclusive, relevant, and responsive to your needs. Your input is essential to building a truly global partnership.
