NORMAN relies on a (still expanding) network of
Contact Points in each EU country
to help with the gathering of information about all relevant on-going monitoring programmes,
studies and research initiatives in the field of emerging pollutants.
This information is mostly in the form of national reports,
which appear in the so-called "grey literature" rather
than in scientific publications.
