Workshop on Non-Target Screening Towards the harmonisation of methods for non-target screening of environmental samples
This workshop welcomed participants and speakers from all over Europe (and USA) to give an overview on the current trends and future developments of non-target screening, before initiating discussions on how to best harmonise non-target methods. The results of the NORMAN collaborative non-target screening trial, where a single, well-defined sample was sent to many laboratories across Europe were presented. The outcomes of this joint NORMAN-SOLUTIONS workshop will be the basis for the preparation of further NORMAN action and an opinion paper on the harmonisation of methods for non-target screening of environmental samples.
This workshop was followed by the NORMAN MassBank Workshop to enhance the exchange of mass spectra (17-18 September, 2014).
